Atkinson Clock Tower
The Atkinson Clock Tower was built is 1905 and it is the oldest standing pre-war landmarks in Kota Kinabalu. It was built in memory of the Francis George Atkinson, the popular first District Officer of Jesselton during the British North Borneo administration, who died of 'Borneo fever' or malaria.
