City Mosque
Located in Likas Bay, the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, also known as the famous floating mosque is the largest and most beautiful in Kota Kinabalu. The blue and gold dome architecture is inspired by Nabawi Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is open for pubic visits daily except on Friday, and requires visitors to be modestly dressed.
