Sketched on site during the story gathering process for Plates, Vol.2: Durian.

Three Kayan elders at the Uma Belor longhouse having an afternoon chat. Pui means ‘grandmother’ in the longhouse’s Kayan dialect.

This is a high quality digital print of the artwork:  ‘Three Puis’ by Dee May Tan (2019)  / Watercolour and ink on paper.

The original illustration was sketched on site at Uma Belor longhouse, Sarawak, Borneo (as shown in product gallery) during the story gathering process for ‘Collecting Splintered Lores’ as featured in Plates, Vol 2 : Durian. Printed on FSC-certified and acid-free Takeo art paper.

Please bear in mind that photos may slightly differ from actual item in terms of colour due to the lighting during the photo shoot, or the monitor’s display.

Postcard will be packed together with a protective plastic sheet and stiff cardboard insert to prevent water damage, bends or folds during shipping.
